MO GOODFELLOW
Artist in Residence

Mo Goodfellow (she/they) is a lifelong performer and advocate for the arts. She is a graduate of Chapman University's prestigious College of Performing Arts with a BFA in Dance as well as a BA in English Literature. Her artistic and professional goals work to combine her degrees in a career dedicated to arts innovation through performance, creation, and storytelling. Mo has an intense passion for concert dance work, contact improvisation, and site-specific dance. Her notable performances include "Choose to let," a video project produced and choreographed by Alice Klock, and her work with Ido Tadmor in the premiere of his piece "Imagine" at the cutting-edge Musco Center for the Arts. Mo is currently a company member with Backhausdance, where she has performed works by Bret Easterling, Jessie Lee Thorne, Peter Chu, FLOCK, Amanda Kay White, and Jennifer Backhaus. Other notable credits include her work with Mackenzie Martin's GEOMETRY Dance Company and Mo's critically acclaimed theater choreography for the Chance Theaters productions of RENT, Sweeney Todd, and Spring Awakening. Additionally, she has toured nationally with Kybele Dance Theater and performed in several festivals, including MashUp Contemporary Dance Company's International Women's Day Dance Festival, the Capezio ACE Awards, and the Palm Desert Choreography Festival at the McCallum Theater.
