Roxanne
Foster
Roxanne Foster studied dance at Liberty Bay Danceworks (now InMotion Performing Arts) in Poulsbo, WA. She performed with Dance Ensemble Northwest under the artistic direction of Michael Fallotico. Roxanne attended summer dance intensives with The Kirov Academy of Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Jose Limon Dance Foundation. After graduating from Bainbridge High School, Roxanne trained in Alonzo King's LINES Ballet BFA program. Roxanne received her Bachelor of Arts in dance and political science from the University of Washington, Seattle. While at the University of Washington, Roxanne was a member of the Chamber Dance Company under the artistic direction of Hannah Wiley.
Roxanne began her professional career at Seattle Opera. Roxanne worked with Seattle Opera for ten seasons as a dancer and choreographer. Roxanne is a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) - a union that serves opera singers and dancers. She participated on the AGMA Board of Governors for eight years.
Roxanne taught at InMotion Performing Arts from 2012-2020. After time away, Roxanne is excited to return to the studio. She looks forward to working with students and dancing again!
